TASK 1 - Sound Dubbing
WEEK 4
Fig 1.1 Exercise 1 Brief
In Project 1, we were provided with a short clip of Everything Everywhere
All at Once along with subtitles scripts. From the clip, we were
instructed to create a Google sheet that includes the scene breakdown with
the links to the sound effects and ambience sound according to the
timeline.
Audio Breakdown
We were formed into a group of five to complete the sheet together, and
added the links to the sound effects and ambience sound according to the
description individually.
Below is the completed sheet of Audio Breakdown:

SFX Editing on Adobe Premiere Pro
After working on the scene breakdown, we were then instructed to sync the
audio into the clip using Adobe Premiere Pro.

Dubbing Process
Below are my recorded dubbing files with each script:

To make Waymond's voice tone deeper, I used the Pitch Shifter tool
from Audio Effects. I also adjusted each audio clip to a level between
-6 and -12 decibels.

REFLECTIONS
I’ve always been interested in video dubbing, and this wasn’t my first
time recording voiceover for a video. However, what made Task 1
different was that the video had no sound at all, so I also had to
find and add various sound effects along with my voiceover to create a
complete audio track. It was so much fun, and it gave me a deeper
understanding of how to use Adobe Premiere Pro.
In Task 2, I learned a new software, Adobe Audition, and explored how
to create different sound effects for audio. Every sound I worked with
felt fresh and exciting. I think this project was a really enjoyable
experience for me.
